Enjoy Kanheri through a lens

Head to the tranquil caves of Kanheri with the enthusiastic bunch from photography club Mumbaiography. For all you shutterbugs out there, here is an opportunity to take in the stupas and chaityas of this heritage site as you aim your lenses for that perfect shot. Chat with other camera-toting members to get some tips on perspectives and angles too. Finally, if you need to take a break, what could be a better vantage point than this hilltop resting place to take in a view of the city?

Celebrate Shakespeare's 400th

7.30 PM: Theatre group The Phoenix Players celebrates the Bard's enduring legacy on the occasion of his 400th death anniversary with an internationally acclaimed solo performance. Artiste Salim Ghouse dons the garb of a clown to reminisce about life and art, the things that make us love Shakespeare so.

Men, here's Kathak for you
7.15 PM: Guru Aparna Mishra brings a unique 90-minute workshop called Kathak for Him, intended to break stereotypes. Using a series of male-specific footwork, bhaav, bol and body posture, and non-dancing elements like mathematics, numbers, logic and quantum physics, Mishra hopes that men will find their comfort zone. The workshop will end with special dance previews.

Watch a Polish film
