US Open women's singles finalists Madison Keys has said that she was also fascinated by the fact that she shares her name with a street in New York. "I always thought it was really cool there was a street in a big city that had the same name as me," Keys during a media interaction on the eve of her final against compatriot Sloane Stephens at Flushing Meadows on Saturday.
"I always wanted to go to Madison Street and get a picture next to it. Luckily, I haven't done that because that's really cheesy," added Keys, who was interestingly named after the mermaid in Splash, the hit 1980s movie in which Tom Hanks falls for the aquatic charms of Daryl Hannah.
