Talking about her experience of getting married to Curry in 2011 at the age of 22, Ayesha spoke about the difficulties she faced while raising her children when everybody else was busy planning their future on the Skimm’d From The Couch podcast.
The couple has three kids, Riley, eight, Ryan Carson, five and Canon Jack, two. “I started to realise was I was becoming this woman at such a young age when other people would still potentially be in college or just figuring out who they want to be. I had to make a lot of decisions,” she explained.
Ayesha, 32, revealed she was trying to be somebody else her whole life. “I was getting married and having kids and it got to a point when I was like, I’ve spent my whole life since I was a little girl attempting to play these other people and auditioning to be these other people that I don’t even know what I like or who I am because I’ve spent my whole life, trying to figure out how to be somebody else,” said the cookbook author and entrepreneur.
