Serena good at focusing on family time and personal time: Alexis Ohanian

Alexis Ohanian thanks tennis champion wife Williams for perfectly balancing her personal and professional life

Alexis Ohanian has praised his tennis star wife Serena Williams for being able to strike the right balance between her personal and professional life.  

According to People magazine, speaking on TV show, CBS This Morning, Reddit co-founder Ohanian, 38,  who has daughter Alexis Olympia, three, with Williams, said that the tennis ace is very good at switching on and off between work and home. “One thing I’m still working on is balancing work with time off, time away, time to reset and recharge. Something [Serena] is really good at is shutting it off and focusing on family time and personal time,” he remarked.

Meanwhile, advocating the importance of paternity family leave, Ohanian, who had taken 16 weeks off back in 2017 for the birth of his child, said:  “I’m a smartphone away from dipping back into work but nothing could have dragged me away from my wife and daughter in those hours. And I’m grateful I was never forced to choose between family and my job.”
