Women’s singles and mixed doubles champ Naheed Divecha
Naheed Divecha of Bombay Gymkhana won double crowns at the Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana-organised 2nd All-India Open Racketlon Championship at Santacruz recently. Divecha edged ahead of teenager Aadirai, 15 of Coimbatore 68-67 via the ‘Golden’ tie-breaker, after their scores at the end of the four events (table tennis, badminton, squash and tennis) were deadlocked at 67-all (19-21, 21-4, 17-21, 11-21).
