Fay Ferreira, the wife of former World Billiards champion Michael, passed away on Saturday. Fay, 80, succumbed to COVID-19. Her eldest son Mark, the erstwhile India tennis player, wrote on Facebook: "She sensed her situation, called both my brother and my dad and finally called me a few moments before she passed.

She gave me a thumbs up. She said, "go change more lives son & I love you," waved good bye, smiled through the non-invasive ventilator and that was what my last view of her."
