<p><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/other-sports/article/f1-aston-martin-pick-cowell-as-boss-23462658" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>Aston Martin</strong></a> F1&rsquo;s team principal and CEO Andy Cowell dismissed speculation linking Red Bull&rsquo;s reigning world champion <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/other-sports/article/max-verstappen-still-hopeful-of-winning-title-23522472" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>Max Verstappen</strong></a> with a potential move to the Silverstone-based team.</p>
<p>Verstappen&rsquo;s relationship with Red Bull has become a major talking point, following comments from Red Bull&rsquo;s motorsport adviser, Helmut Marko, who admitted he had &ldquo;great concern&rdquo; over Dutch driver&rsquo;s future with the team.</p>

<p>Having signed Red Bull&rsquo;s design guru Adrian Newey, Aston Martin has been mooted as a possible destination for Verstappen. However, Cowell rubbished such suggestions.</p>
<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re fortunate that we&rsquo;ve got two incredibly experienced drivers [Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll] signed for the next two years, and that means I can just focus on the art of making a fast race car,&rdquo; said Cowell.</p>
