India reached an unequalled milestone of 100 medals at the ongoing Asian Games 2023. This is the first time in history, India has achieved this exceptional feat. This achievement came after the Indian women's kabaddi team clinched the gold medal in the women's team kabaddi event against Chinese Taipei at the Asian Games 2023.

India currently stands in fourth place in the medal tally with a total of 100 medals with 25 Gold, 35 silver and 40 bronze medals.
