Sanil Shetty and Aman Balgu, India's top ranking paddlers, earned the highest bids in the players' auction for the Mumbai Super League (MSL) Table Tennis competition.

With a base price of 170 units, Kool Smashers snapped up Shetty, currently ranked fourth in India with a bid of 380 units in the men's category. Balgu also earned the same as Mumbai Titans picked him.
Another of Mumbai's top star, Ravindra Kotian, earned the next highest bid in the category as Supreme Fighters snapped him up for 350 units.
Charvi Kawle, the national youth girls' runner-up and a key player for Maharashtra, earned the highest bid in the women's category with 300 units and will feature in the Century Warriors team. A total of 40 players featured in the auction.
The inaugural MSL, restricted to Mumbai city and Mumbai suburban-based players, will have eight teams with four each in two groups. Competitions will be held at the Khar Gymkhana on June 20 and 21.
