Kiara Bangera of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj won four gold medals on the concluding day of the sixth Matunga Gymkhana Open swimming meet recently.
The six-year-old bagged top spots in the 50m freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly events of girls’ U-7 category.
Other star performers of the day were Akanksha Shah of Matunga Gymkhana and Anannya Nayak of Vibgyor High, who bagged three gold medals each in the U-9 and U-5 individual championships, respectively.
Six-year-old Worli lad Ronak Sawant of Salvation School, Dadar also did well the U-7 category. He won gold medals in 50m freestyle and butterfly events. Sawant garnered 14 points to win the individual championship too.u00a0
