Hyderabad: Tejaswini Bai produced a last-minute thriller as Storm Queens beat Fire Birds 24-23 in the final of the inaugural Women's Kabaddi Challenge at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.

Storm Queens were cruising till the 29th minute, before the Fire Birds made a dramatic come back to score five points in the last minute and turn the game on its head, ensuring a nail-biting finish.
However, the Fires Birds just fell short eventually as Tejaswini Bai picked up two points in the dying seconds to clinch it for Storm Queens.

Meanwhile, among the men, Patna Pirates defended their Pro Kabaddi League title with a 37-29 win over Jaipur Pink Panthers.
