John McEnroe has reignited his spat with US tennis star Serena Williams by making a remark on the nude Vanity Fair magazine cover picture which the former Word No. 1 posted on Instagram recently. Serena, 35, was posed nude for the US publication, showing off her prominent belly.'
McEnroe had courted controversy after he ranked the 23-time Grand Slam champion 700th in the men's circuit. Serena then slammed the tennis legend and asked him to "respect" her privacy.

"Dear John, I adore and respect you but please keep me out of your statements that are not factually based. Respect me and my privacy as I'm trying to have a baby," Serena had tweeted.
McEnroe later regretted his comments but on Monday he said Williams used her pregnancy to gain publicity. McEnroe told ESPN: "Serena said to me, 'Respect my privacy' — and then I saw her doing a Demi Moore lookalike thing on the cover of Vanity Fair."
