Kundan Chandra (44) and Cajetan Dias (28) are set to represent India along with 23 other countries. The tournament will serve as a demonstration game at the Rio Olympics, and is to be held between the Olympics and the Paralympics from 24-28 August.
Chandra is the Head of Youth Development at Mumbai FC while Dias is the Maharashtra State Foottennis coach and also a football coach at Dias Sports Club. Footvolley combines aspects of beach volleyball and association football played on the beach and involves two, three or four players on each side. This tournament though would only feature two-a-side games.
