Rain played spoil sport but couldn't stop Rest of India from taking a huge 382-run lead against Mumbai on the fourth day of their Irani Trophy on Sunday.

Rest of India put themselves in a commanding position as they made 352 for four in their second innings against Mumbai. Rest of India made 260 runs in the first innings and bowled out Mumbai for 230 runs.

Resuming at overnight score of 171 for no loss, openers Abhinav Mukund made 126 and Murali Vijay struck 91 as the opening wicket partnership made 227 runs.

At stumps, Manoj Tewary was unbeaten on 80 and Wriddhiman Saha five when bad light forced them to take an early tea. The post-tea session was not played after rains came down heavily at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium.
