It was a mixed day for Krish Bhatia. Krish, who upset top seed Maanav Shah 11-8, 11-7, 4-11, 12-10 in the sub-junior boys singles quarter-finals of the late Pratap Vora All Mumbai promotional table tennis tournament at Kandivali Education Society Hall yesterday, crashed out in the semi-finals.
Shubham Shinde beat Krish 11-8, 11-8, 11-4 in the semis. Shubham will now take on Shubham Samant, who was stretched by Craig D'Souza 13-11, 9-11, 12-10, 11-7.
Meanwhile, in the sub-junior girls, Mukta Dalvi upset top seed Vidhi Palak Shah 8-11, 7-11, 11-6, 11-8, 11-9 win. She will take on second-seed Sheefa Shaikh, who beat Hiya Mehta 11-7, 11-7, 11-7.
