Rizvi College (Bandra) entered the final of the University of Mumbai inter-collegiate cricket tournament on Tuesday.

They defeated Jhunjhunwala College (Ghatkopar) by three wickets in the two-day semi-final at the DY Patil University complex ground, Nerul.
Jhunjhunwala scored 254 as Rizvi’s left-arm-spinner Yash Chavan scalped five wickets, giving away 53 runs.
Riding on an unbeaten 80 from Ajinkya Patil, Rizvi chased the target comfortably, losing seven wickets. Jhunjhunwala seamers Atul Singh and Shams Mulani took three wickets each. Rizvi will play Podar College (Matunga) in the final.
