McLaren's Jenson Button yesterday said just finishing the Australian GP was a triumph of sorts as he remained upbeat despite coming in 11th and last. The three-time race winner wound up just outside the points for McLaren, but it was a starting point after a torrid time wrestling with an unresponsive car. "Today has been a good day. Red Bull's Ricciardo slams 'boring race'
Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo labelled the Australian GP "boring" yesterday after dominant Mercedes claimed first and second spots more than 30 seconds ahead of the field. "I feel a bit for the fans," said Ricciardo, who finished sixth in his Red Bull. "It was a boring race. It was frustrating. It wasn't the most exciting race."
