Abhinav Bindra was disappointed not to be able to replicate his Beijing Olympics gold medal-winning performance in the 10m Air Rifle event at the CWG yesterday, but his father Apjit Singh felt his son did incredibly well.
"I'm very proud of Abhinav's silver medal. I think it's a tremendous achievement and proves once again that he is a very consistent shooter. All this is the perfect build-up to the London Olympics," Bindra Sr told MiD DAY. As for the country's expectations of yet another gold from his son, Bindra Sr said: "People should realise that even Sachin Tendulkar cannot go out and score a century every time."
