According to The Sun, the Italian is convinced he can revitalise and re-energise the team for the Euro 2012 campaign.
A source close to Capello said: "For Fabio there is a real feeling of unfinished business with England. He wants to stay and put things right. It''s not about the money - there are plenty of clubs out there who would pay him the six million pounds a year he gets with England."
"Before he got the job he was always puzzled as to why England failed so often when they had such good players. And then, when he got the job he was thrilled because the players were even better than he thought. Qualification was very good so spirits were high going out to South Africa. But that''s when it all went wrong - the players seemed to freeze," the source added.
