Bosco beat Guru Nanak 3-1 to enter MSSA hockey semis

Don Bosco High School (Matunga) registered a 3-1 win over Guru Nanak High School (Sion) to enter the semi-finals of the boys' U-16 Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) Ahmed Sailor inter-school hockey tournament at MHAL-Mahindra Stadium, Churchgate yesterday

Don Bosco High School (Matunga) registered a 3-1 win over Guru Nanak High School (Sion) to enter the semi-finals of the boys' U-16 Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) Ahmed Sailor inter-school hockey tournament at MHAL-Mahindra Stadium, Churchgate yesterday.

The Matunga school took the lead in the 12th minute through Ayush Shetty's field goal. The Sion school's Vishal Patel equalised in the 34th minute.


However, 10 minutes later Don Bosco took the lead once again, thanks to a penalty corner through Mihir Patil. Four minutes later, Rajin Mehta found the net to make it 3-1 for Don Bosco.
