According to Harender, Bajrang had told his family that he will return with a gold medal. "Before leaving, he told us that he will be fighting for the gold medal. He also said, 'Iss bar, sona hi launga [this time I return with gold]. He did exactly what he told us. I am really proud of my younger brother," Harender told mid-day from Sonipat.
Harender, 27, a wrestler himself, gave a little insight into Bajrang's training regime. "It is not like he has prepared for this [Asian] Games from the last few months. He is so focused and level-headed that he knows what to do and what to avoid. I hardly remember him missing out on his daily routine for a single day, apart from his travelling and recovery day schedules," he added.
