In conjunction with one of the most exciting finishes to a season in F1's history, over 16,000 hours of coverage were broadcast to 187 countries, with growth in nine of the 11 largest TV markets. Across Europe, many of Formula One Management's broadcast partners reported highest race audiences.
F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone said: "Whilst 2010 delivered great things, 2011 promises even more as Formula One seeks to build upon the foundations laid in our emerging markets and enthral our audiences across the world."
