English footballer Jamie Vardy’s wife, Rebekah has managed to record a partial win in her WAG row with fellow footballer Wayne Rooney’s wife, Coleen.

According to British tabloid, The Sun,  the court agreed to throw out part of Coleen’s defence as it was irrelevant or wrong. Rebekah and Coleen are involved in a legal battle after the later accused the former of leaking news via social media.

In the latest hearing, the judge ruled against Rebekah’s appeal for a summary judgement on one of the three stories Coleen planted in an Instagram post regarding her TV plans. Judge Mrs Justice Steyn dismissed Coleen’s claim that Rebekah showed “publicity seeking behaviour” when she was sitting behind her at an England game at Euro 2016.

“The fact that a person seeks media coverage of their own attendance at a football match does not make it more probable that they would disclose private information about another person to the press,” said the judge. With the latest development, Coleen’s wish to win the case may be weak and the 18-month feud could finally end soon.
