Dadar-based Maccabi won both, the open and the veterans titles, at the Our Lady of Assumption rink football tournament in Kandivli recently. In the open final, Maccabi beat Shalom United 1-0 with Kirsten Gonsalves scoring the match-winner. In the veterans final, Maccabi beat IC Royals 3-1. Martin D’Silva, Shannon Rodrigues and Coswil Cardoz scored for the winners while Agnelo Picardo reduced the margin for IC Royals.
