Ciara recalls crazy delivery of her son during COVID-19 pandemic

National Football League star Russell Wilson and singer wife Ciara welcomed their son Win in July last year. And Ciara had to wear a mask during her labour as her obstetrician didn’t want to take any chances when it came to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking to Self magazine, Ciara said: “My obstetrician was not playing any games about this COVID-19. I literally made my first push with Win and then he was like, ‘She needs a mask on. Get a mask on.’ It happened so fast, so I still had my mask [down].”

Ciara found it crazy that she was asked to wear a mask as she delivered her baby. “He was like, ‘Oh, no, no. She is going to put that mask on.’ My mask was pretty good. But it was like, ‘Wow. This is crazy. I’m having to deliver a baby with a mask.’ What in the world?” questionned Ciara, who has Win and daughter Sienna, three, with Wilson. She has son Future, six, with ex-partner Future.
