Former England skipper Wayne Rooney is determined to be a better husband and prove to wife Coleen that he's now a changed man. The couple's nine-year marriage was under strain in September when the Everton striker was caught drink driving in Laura Simpson's car.

Coleen has been spotted on numerous occasions without her wedding ring, but according to British tabloid, Daily Mirror, the pair are back on track in time to welcome their fourth child.
"Wayne has been determined to prove he's changed and will do whatever it takes. With the new baby on the way, Coleen wants everything with her family to be on track for Christmas. She hasn't made it easy for Wayne, but he's tried really hard and has been spending plenty of time with the kids. He has promised her that he will make her proud," the newspaper quoted a source telling portal Closer.

The couple are already parents to sons Kai, eight, Klay, four, and Kit, two. The couple revealed that they are desperate for a baby girl. Meanwhile, a source told British tabloid, The Sun: "They are both very excited about the baby, and they are desperately hoping for a girl."
