Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez won the Golden Shoe award on Wednesday – but that wasn’t going to solve any of the problems, specially his kids, who continuously questioned him for not scoring against Manchester City in the Champions League.
Suarez scored 40 goals last season to win the award, and was joined on stage by his kids to collect his prize.
Despite winning the honours, Suarez admitted that his kids wanted to know why he had didn’t scored in Barcelona’s 4-0 rout.
“I told not to worry, we won and (Lionel) Messi scored a hat-trick and they were happy,” he said.
