England football legend David Beckham pays a whopping £22,000 (R18.74 lakh approximately) tax per day.
The 41-year-old paid as much as £153,000-a-week (R 1.30 crore approximately) to the UK government on the earnings he accrued through Beckham Brand Holdings Ltd, the investment vehicle which looks after his image rights and wife Victoria's fashion sales, reported femalefirst.com.
The global firm raked in a massive £47 million (R400 crore approx) in 2015, according to renowned UK tax firm, Companies House. It also also revealed that Beckham Brand Holdings Ltd made £31 million (R264 crore approx) in profit, which saw the celebrity duo incur an £8 million (R68 crore approx) tax bill.
