But if there was ever a award for Teammate of the Year, that too would go to the Portuguese star given his recent generosity towards his club mates.
Act of gratitude
It is learnt that Ronaldo has thanked his teammates at Spanish club Real Madrid for being simply amazing by handing each of them a £6,500 (approx USD 10000) wrist watch.
Early Christmas gift
Ronaldo, who has had a successful 2014, scoring 61 goals in 58 games for club and country, decided to give his teammates the early Christmas gift just before their win against Almeria on Friday night, a victory that took their winning streak to an impressive 20 games.
The first Real player to show off his new gift was Alvaro Arbeloa, who immediately posted a picture of himself and Ronaldo alongside the watch on Instagram.
