The IPL 2025 is all set to kickstart with the first match being played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Eden Gardens on March 22

Before the match, Bollywood stars namely, Karan Aujla, Shreyas Ghoshal and Disha Patani will perform live at Eden Gardens to glorify the opening ceremony of the biggest T20 league across the globe

Ahead of the first match, defending champions, KKR will start their campaign under newly-appointed captain Ajinkya Rahane

On the other hand, RCB too will be playing the season under the leadership of Rajat Patidar

The match will commence at 7.30 PM after concluding with the opening ceremony

Both teams have so far faced each other in 34 games in the IPL history out of which, Bengaluru has registered 14 victories and Kolkata has won 20 matches
