England's Harry Brook, whose services were acquired by Delhi Capitals (DC) ahead of the IPL 2025, received a two-year ban, following which he will be unavailable for the two seasons of the cash-rich league. DC acquired his services for Rs. 6.25 crore
Brydon Carse
England's Brydon Carse is also ruled out of the upcoming IPL 2025 season after the pacer sustained a toe injury. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) bought him for Rs 1 crore
Umran Malik
Sensational pacer Umran Malik has also been ruled out of the IPL 2025 following an injury scare. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has named Chetan Sakariya as his replacement. Earlier, Sakariya used to represent Rajasthan Royals (RR), but got transferred to KKR for Rs 75 lakhs
Jasprit Bumrah
Team India's lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah is also likely to miss the initial matches of the IPL 2025. The pacer has been out of action since the last match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. It will be interesting to see if Bumrah clears the fitness tests ahead of Mumbai Indians' (MI) first game of the league on March 23
Hardik Pandya
Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya will miss out on the first game of the IPL 2025. The premier all-rounder has no issues with his health but will not be available for the first match of Mumbai Indians as he received a suspension for one match in the last edition. During the IPL 2024, Pandya was suspended for one match for maintaining a slow over rate in the match against Lucknow Super Giants
