The global superstar and bowling sensation, Team India lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the Champions Trophy 2025. His absence will be a huge blow for the "Men in Blue". The pacer has been struggling with back issues since January
Australia captain Pat Cummins has also been ruled out following his ankle injury. In his absence, Steve Smith will hold the captaincy baton for the Champions Trophy 2025
Cummins' fellow teammate Josh Hazlewood has also been ruled out as the pacer is busy managing his ongoing injuries
Premier Australian pacer Mitchell Starc has opted out of the Champions Trophy 2025 citing personal reasons. The "Yellow Shirts" will now fall short of their three bowling stalwarts
Key all-rounders Mitchell Marsh and Marcus Stoinis will also not make their appearance in the marquee event for Australia. Marsh's reason for not showing up is the lower back pain that has not responded sufficiently to rehabilitation whereas, Stoinis drew curtains on his ODI career before the upcoming ICC event
England's young talent Jacob Bethell will not feature for the side in the mega event. He pulled a hamstring injury during the concluded white-ball tour against Team India
South Africa will also miss the services of pacer Anrich Nortje who has been dealing with back trouble. Also, Gerald Coetzee has been experiencing tightness in his groin, following which he has not been considered for the selection for the Champions Trophy 2025
