He is the leading wicket-taker in the series so far, with a mammoth 17 wickets from the first two Tests, including a fifer in the Nagpur Test and a seven-wicket haul in Australia’s second innings in the second Test. As a batsman, he has amassed 96 runs at an average of 48 in two innings.
Ranked second among bowlers and all-rounders in cricket’s longest format as of December 2021, Ravichandran Ashwin, is a name alone feared by many. He has scored an overall 60 runs in two innings at an average of 30, with 37 being his highest score in the series so far. He has claimed 14 wickets, which is the second-highest wicket haul in the series behind compatriot Jadeja.
