The first-ever World Test Championship final is all set to take place from June 18-22 between India and New Zealand and former cricketer Parthiv Patel is eagerly awaiting this epic clash.

The former cricketer from Gujarat who played for India between 2002-2018 shared his views in a recent chat with a sports channel.

Speaking exclusively on Star Sports' show Cricket Connected, former Team India wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel spoke about what could be New Zealand's biggest strength during the World Test Championship Final.

"I think New Zealand's biggest strength is to come up as a team in the game. I think, yes, all the teams have their superstars, but they (The Kiwis) know their limitations, they know if someone's capable of scoring 40 or 50 in a limited time and get 100% out of each player. If you look at their names – no one would be scared of Kane Williamson alone, no one will be scared of Tom Latham alone or all their fast bowlers. Their ability to perform together. I think that's so important; as far as New Zealand's performance is concerned in ICC trophies," said Parthiv Patel.

Parthiv Patel made his Test debut in August 2002 and played his final match in January 2018. Patel played 25 matches, scoring 934 runs at an average above 31 with six fifties. He also played 38 ODIs scoring 736 runs at an average of 23.74.
