Rajasthan Royals’ Mumbai-based all-rounder Shivam Dube (64 not out off 42 balls, 4x4, 4x6) was awaiting the opportunity to play on IPL’s resumption in Dubai and was more than happy to deliver as RR outclassed table-toppers CSK by seven wickets in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

“I was waiting for my chance. I got the chance and I’m glad that I performed well. This is a much-needed knock for me as well as my team at this moment. We are at No. 7 right now [in the IPL points table] and if we play really well in the next two matches [against MI and KKR], we can qualify for the play-offs,” said Dube.
