Mumbai U-19 kicked off their Vinoo Mankad Trophy campaign with a 67-run win over Tripura in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.

Put in to bat, Mumbai managed 209 in 46.4 overs. Opener Angkrish Raghuvanshi (58, 8x4), captain Suryansh Shedge (40, 3x4, 2x6) and Aayush Zimare (34 not out) were the top scores for Mumbai.
Earlier, Mumbai lost opener Musheer Khan (3) in the second over when pacer Pamir Debnath (1-17) disturb his furniture before Raghuvanshi and one-drop Aayush Jethwa (24) shared a 80-run stand for the second wicket.
Left-arm spinners Sahil Sultan (3-24) and skipper Parvez Sultan (2-36), pacer Abdul Kalam (2-34) were the top wicket-takers for Tripura. In reply, Tripura were bundled out for just 142 in 42.4 overs. Durlab Roy (44, 6x4, 1x6) was the top-scorer for the losing side.
Mumbai left-arm spinner Musheer claimed three for 15, while pacer Prince Badiani and Shedge took two wickets each.
