In the wake of wet weather, the ongoing Asia Cup could be shifted to Dambulla, it is learnt.


It can be recalled that the original plan was to host games in Dambulla, where rain would not interfere with matches, but India were not keen to play there.

Saturday’s India v Pakistan blockbuster clash was ruined by rain while today’s India v Nepal game could be rain-marred too. 

Colombo was ruled as the capital city is experiencing floods.

Meanwhile, India’s lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah will fly back home due to personal reasons. He will be back after the Nepal game.
