The Indian cricket team have finally announced their new jersey for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Down Under starting on October 16. Rohit Sharma and co will wear a sky-blue theme coloured kit for the mega tournament that is will kick-start on October 16. “To every cricket fan out there, this one’s for you. The graphic sees Rohit Sharma, Harmanpreet Kaur, Hardik Pandya, Shafali Verma, Suryakumar Yadav and Renuka Singh Thakur donning the new jersey.

But before the tournament, Rohit Sharma's men will have a stern test against the T20I World Champions, Australia and followed by South Africa. With Virat Kohli returning back to form, Aussie red-ball skipper Pat Cummins stated that it was about time Virat returned to form. "To be totally honest, I did not see any of that tournament (Asia Cup). I think Sri Lanka won? Honestly, I did not see any of it. I saw Virat Kohli, I think he scored a hundred, yeah h is a class player, he was always going to return to form at some point in time. He is going to be a challenge this next week," said Cummins in a pre-match press conference.
Team India play the 1st T20 match against Australia on September 20 at Mohali.
