Royal Challengers star batsman AB de Villiers entered the record books during the IPL 2021 tie between RCB and DC on April 27. ABD, as he is famously known, scored a blistering 75 runs off just 42 balls to help his team post 171 on board.

During his innings, de Villiers broke the 5000-run barrier in IPL and became only the second overseas player to achieve this feat - the other being David Warner.
India and RCB skipper Virat Kohli leads the list in runs over 5k and is the only cricketer to score more than 6,000 runs in IPL. There are three Indian cricketers besides Kohli who have over 5,000 IPL runs to their name. SRH skipper David Warner is quite impressive as he has played the least number of matches in the list and has the best average and the most number of fifties and second-highest number of hundreds scored from this list. Virat Kohli has the most number of hundreds with 5 under his belt.
