Former India and Mumbai pacer Salil Ankola was on Monday re-appointed chairman of the senior Mumbai selection committee and the U-23 team.

MCA’s Cricket Improvement Committee (CIC) chief Jatin Paranjape and his colleagues Vinod Kambli and Nilesh Kulkarni finalised the junior and senior selection committees for the forthcoming domestic season.
“This is a team [committee] of good, nice people and we have played together. I have played with Anand and Sunil. Ghulambhai was my senior and I know Prasad since our U-17 cricket days. We are all raring to go for the betterment of Mumbai cricket,” Ankola told mid-day. Meanwhile, Atul Ranade, Mandar Phadke and Jayprakash Jadhav will head the selection panels of the Mumbai U-19, U-16 and U-14 teams respectively.
