Rajasthan Royals batsman Rahul Tewatia not only does good for his team on the field but also off it. He recently shared a post on Twitter in order to help one of his friend's mother who is in dire need of medication after she tested positive for COVID-19.


The Indian cricketer, who was sensational at the IPL 2020 edition, asked for help on the micro-blogging platform as his friend's mother, who is suffering from COVID-19, is not able to acquire the required medication for her treatment, particularly remedesvir.



Rahul Tewatia also shared the necessary details in his Twitter post. Tewatia wrote, "My friend’s mom needs ramdecivir urgently as the doctors have said she isn't safe. Please help." Take a look at the post below.


The 27-year-old cricketer has so far played 3 matches at the ongoing IPL 2021 edition scoring 41 runs at an average of 13.66. At the IPL 2020 edition in UAE, in the 14 matches he played, Tewatia scored 255 runs at a stunning average of 42.50 and strike rate of 139.34.
