According to sources, Ponting had a meeting with BCCI secretary Jay Shah and chief selector <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/cricket/article/that-decision-lies-with-agarkar-jay-shah-opens-up-on-iyer-kishans-snub-23348559" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Ajit Agarkar</a> in the first week of the month for the coaching position.
