In the IPL 2025 match against Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals came victorious by six wickets. The Faf du Plessis-led DC chased the target of 207 runs in 19.3 overs by losing four wickets.

Coming to bat at number five, Sameer Rizvi played a stunning knock of an unbeaten 58 runs in 25 balls. His knock included three boundaries and five maximums. He was shouldered by Tristan Stubbs, who scored an unbeaten 18 runs. His 18-run knock came in 14 balls and saw him smash two boundaries.


Opening the innings, Impact Player, KL Rahul, scored 35 runs in 21 balls, including six boundaries and a maximum. Fellow opening batsman and stand-in captain, Faf du Plessis, smashed 23 runs in just 15 balls. His knock included two boundaries and a maximum.


After struggling to find himself among the runs, Karun Nair played a knock of 44 runs in just 27 deliveries. His knock was laced with five boundaries and two maximums. Facing 16 balls, Sediqullah Atal scored 22 runs by smashing two maximums.

In an attempt to defend 207 runs, PBKS' spinner Harpreet Brar claimed two wickets for 41 runs in four overs. Marco Jansen and Impact Player, Praveen Dubey, registered one wicket each to their names.

Having put to bat first in the IPL 2025 match in Jaipur, Punjab Kings posted a total of 206 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Despite losing wickets in regular intervals, Punjab skipper Shreyas Iyer delivered a captain's knock. Facing 34 balls, the right-hander scored 53 runs, which was laced with five boundaries and two maximums. Marcus Stoinis was the second-highest run-scorer for the side in the match. In just 16 balls, Stoinis played an unbeaten knock of 44 runs, including three boundaries and four maximums. Jos Inglis, too, scored a quick 32 runs in 12 balls. He entertained the crowd by smashing three boundaries and two maximums.

Delhi's pacer Mustafizur Rahman bagged three wickets, followed by Vipraj Nigam, who registered two wickets to his name. Premier spinner Kuldeep Yadav, too, claimed two wickets, and pacer Mukesh Kumar bagged one wicket. Mohit Sharma went wicketless in the IPL 2025 match against PBKS.
