Asked if England were surprised by Sarfaraz’s style of batting, which resembled England’s approach in recent times, Collingwood replied: “Yes, of course. He came out and batted really well. We kept attacking fields to him and he had the courage to go over the top on a few occasions. He sweeps really well and puts the bowlers under pressure. On debut, it takes a lot of courage to come out and play like that,” said Collingwood.
