The IPL 2025 mega auction witnessed 182 players being sold for an astounding total of Rs 639.15 crore. Rishabh Pant made history by setting a new record for the most expensive purchase, securing a deal with Lucknow Super Giants, while Shreyas Iyer followed closely behind, joining Punjab Kings. Indian players fetched impressive prices, with Indian fast bowlers particularly shining on Day 2 of the auction.
