IPL 2021: These cricketers were the stars at the Qualifiers and Eliminator

As we are now done and dusted with the 2 Qualifiers and 1 Eliminator match at the IPL 2021, let's take a look at the cricketers who stepped up for their team in these big matches

The IPL 2021 qualifier 1 and 2 as well as the eliminator rounds have finally come to an end with two teams - Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders - ready to face each other in the IPL 14 final.


CSK first faced off against IPL 2021 table-toppers Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 1. DC, batting first posted a total of 172/5 with batsman Prithvi Shaw scoring 60 off just 34 balls.  In reply, Dhoni's CSK  reached the total with 2 balls to spare courtesy of their star batsman for IPL 2021 - Ruturaj Gaikwad. The CSK batsman scored yet another fifty - 70 off 50 balls - to help his team enter their 9th IPL final.

The eliminator saw Royal Challengers Bangalore face off against the 4th-placed Kolkata Knight Riders. RCB, chasing their first-ever IPL title, posted 138 runs with Kohli being the top scorer with 39. KKR's Sunil Narine was yet again the star for the team and picked up 4 wickets for 21 runs. In reply, KKR managed to reach the total with 2 balls to spare and entered the next stage.

Qualifiers 2 saw Delhi Capitals meet KKR and after batting first, DC scored 135 runs with Shikhar Dhawan top-scoring with 36 runs. KKR yet again managed to win the match thanks to a heroic innings by their new star Venkatesh Iyer who posted 55 runs in 41 balls.

Kolkata Knight Riders will now face Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2021 final on October 15.
