The ICC World Cup 2023 match between New Zealand and Sri Lanka is being played in Bengaluru at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The Kiwis will look to secure a win against the Lankan Lions, today to keep their semi-final qualification hopes of the ICC World Cup 2023 alive.


New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson has won the toss and elected to bowl first against Sri Lanka.

Kane Williamson's return to the side has powered New Zealand's top batting order. In the last match against Pakistan, the veteran missed his century by just five runs. Spectators will eye on young lad Rachin Ravindra to deliver another stunning performance against Sri Lanka, today. Ravindra already has three centuries under his name in the ICC World Cup 2023.

Sri Lanka will clash with New Zealand after facing a defeat from Bangladesh and will definitely look for a win against Kiwis, today.

Kane Williamson (c), Trent Boult, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Tom Latham, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, Mitch Santner, Tim Southee.

Sri Lanka:

Kusal Mendis (c), Kusal Perera, Pathum Nissanka, Dushmantha Chameera, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Charith Asalanka, Dhananjaya de Silva, Maheesh Theekshana, Angelo Mathews, Dilshan Madushanka, Chamika Karunaratne.

Defending champions win over the Dutch

England skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bat first against the Netherlands. Dawid Malan and star all-rounder Ben Stokes played a knock of 87 runs and 108 runs, respectively. The defending champions set a target of 340 runs for the Dutch to chase down.

Skipper Scott Edwards and Teja Nidamanuru both smashed 38 runs and 41 runs but failed to guide their team to a win against England. Moeen Ali and Adil ashid both registered three wickets each under their name. England won the match by 160 runs.
