India and Afghanistan have played only three ODIs against each other. Among the three matches, India came victorious in two matches whereas Afghanistan didn't win any match. The remaining match ended with a tie.

India might play with the same playing XI from the previous match. Shubman Gill might miss the clash against Afghanistan as well as Pakistan as he has not fully recovered from dengue.

KL Rahul and Virat Kohli seem to be in fine touch in white-ball cricket. Afghanistan will fetch their small chances which will help them to register their first win in ODIs against India.
