England coach Brendon McCullum insisted that he doesn’t like the term Bazball and stressed that it is not his creation and does not credit the captain enough.

“I didn’t come up with it [Bazball], it’s a creation of the media. I feel it does not show the importance of the captain, Stokes in it. A lot of it has to do with Stokes’s idea and the way he wants the team to play and I don’t think it shows,” McCullum said during the CEAT cricket rating awards.

The former New Zealand captain also said that it’s going to be tough when England visit India for a Test series in January next year. “It is going to be a tough challenge against Rohit’s boys in India next year. I don’t know if we’ll win or not, but it’ll be very tough,” he said.

McCullum, 41, received the best coach award while Shubman Gill and Kane Williamson clinched the ODI and Test batter of the year award respectively.
