The Mumbai Cricket Association’s (MCA) Apex Council has, according to sources, decided on the proposed rates (which they will submit to the BCCI) for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup games, to be played at the Wankhede Stadium.

MCA will host five matches in the October-November 2023 tournament.

MCA’s Apex Council met at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday evening and discussed preparations for the tournament and ticket rates.

It is learnt that the MCA’s proposed ticket rate for the Sunil Gavaskar Stand Level 1 is  Rs 1,000 for the England v South Africa game (October 21), South Africa v Bangladesh (October 24) and Australia v Afghanistan (November 7).

However, cricket lovers will have to pay more for tickets of the same stand for the India v Sri Lanka November 2 game and the semi-final (November 15)—Rs 1,500 and Rs 2,500 respectively.

If a cricket fan wants to witness the India v Sri Lanka game from the Sachin Tendulkar and Dilip Vengsarkar Stands—Level 2 (with hospitality), it will cost  Rs 30,000.

Proposed rates for hospitality boxes are Rs 40,000 for the India v Sri Lanka match and Rs 45,000 for the semi-final.
